Warm up with a festive Afternoon Tea in the Queen Anne Tea Room during December or grab delicious seasonal treats from our café, including toasted marshmallows from outside on Sat 5 & Sun 6 and Sat 12 & Sun 13 December. There are also food vans on the castle esplanade.

This festive season (from 18 Nov to 31 Dec), the castle will be transformed with spectacular decorations that include enchanting Christmas displays in Crown Square, colourful lights and wreaths and seasonal displays throughout the grounds. With a magnificent Christmas tree in the Great Hall and plenty of festive moments to capture, you can experience the magic of Christmas around every corner.
