Nestled at the top of the castle in Crown Square, The Tea Rooms is a stylish and elegant place to enjoy snacks and meals or indulge in a traditional afternoon tea.

Food and Drink

Take afternoon tea in The Tea Rooms in Crown Square. A royal setting suits this great British tradition said to be the idea of a duchess. Each guest is given an individual cake stand laden with sweet and savoury delights.

Soups, salads and other light dishes are also on the menu at The Tea Rooms. Sample some of Scotland’s famously high quality produce – from smoked salmon to Scottish cheeses.

A good range of whiskies is available, plus craft beers and lagers, wines and spirits. Soft drinks include castle-made lemonade.

Afternoon Tea Experience

Indulge yourself or treat a loved one to an afternoon tea package, which includes admission to the castle.

For gift purchases a voucher is supplied. Castle admission and afternoon tea must then be pre-booked in advance.
