Queens of the Castle tour
Who defended Edinburgh Castle until her dying breath? What decisive action did Queen Joan take to protect her son's inheritance? Which queen saved her husband from imprisonment in the castle? Was Queen Victoria amused by her visits to the castle, or not? Discover the answers to these questions, and more, during this special tour celebrating International Women's Day.
Suitable for ages 16yrs+.
The tour will last 90 minutes, takes place outdoors and requires visitors to walk on steep and cobbled walkways. Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time. The tour will start at the ‘Event Meeting Point’, just through the main gate and to the right.
