Edinburgh Castle Careers Fair
Our Edinburgh Castle Careers Fair returns for its second year as part of Heritage Careers Week 2026.
Come to Edinburgh Castle after hours, from 7-9pm, to meet employers in the heritage sector, colleges and universities, and discover the range of skills and careers it takes to protect Scotland's heritage.
Explore a wide range of careers, including:
- Architecture and surveying
- Construction and traditional skills
- Nature and climate roles
- Archaeology
- Galleries, libraries, archives and museums
- Creative and cultural professions
Join us to understand what options are open to you, learn more about careers and study pathways, and find your place the heritage sector.
Open to young people exploring their career and study options, career changers, and people looking to enter the heritage sector as a career. This event is also suitable for parents, carers and careers advisors.
Attendees must be 16+. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
